Kim whetzel
Kim is a Philadelphia native with a great love of the area and a rich and in-depth understanding of every aspect of the city and surrounding neighborhoods. She is a sales associate at Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty and founder of Team Whetzel, with over 25 years of real estate experience. A second-generation realtor, her father Matthews Williams co-founded Wheeler Williams in 1952, one of the original Main Line real estate firms. Kim specializes in Chestnut Hill, West Mt. Airy, Montgomery County, and the Main Line. She is a “people person” who prides herself on her attention to detail and keen negotiating skills. Her sales career began in the late 1970s in the wholesale clothing business at The Eagles Eye and continued into the 1980s in Institutional Investment sales at The First Boston Corporation.
Kim is passionately committed to the City of Philadelphia, focusing her interests on education, the outdoors, and the arts. She currently serves as a board member of Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, Need in Deed, and the Advisory Committee for the JVS Philadelphia Fund for Women. She also volunteers annually with Friends of the Wissahickon and the Community Clothes Charity.
